To control the hardware component of the visualization complexes Blisclm Ltd created Bliscom DracoEye – the powerful software designed to control the video-walls, separate units of the video-wall.

Easy-to-use software interface makes the software friendly to customers of different qualification. Current version of Bliscom DracoEye supports the video-walls compound from ORION PDP Infinite panels. In 2008 came out the new version of Bliscom DracoEye, supporting the new seamless TFT-LCD panels with improved brightness characteristics

Bliscom DracyEye enables your video-wall to function in the most effective way and simplifies the operator routine, giving extended possibilities to maintenance, control and monitoring of the video-wall functioning. 

Bliscom DracoEye extends the range of video-wall application. Thanks to different types of video-wall geometry, ability to control multiple video-walls and multifunctional possibilities of interaction with COM ports Bliscom DracoEye enables customers to implementation of the art-projects of different scales and level of difficulty.

Working with ports

• Video-wall interaction with the server is based on usage of one or several ports.

• More than six ports are supported.
• Setting up the parameters of work with the ports.
• Notification of absence of the port mentioned in configuration.
• ID check for uniqueness within the configuration.

Multiple video-wall support.

• Remote control of multiple walls simultaneously.
• Flexible work with video-walls configurations used by the control server.

Video-wall configuration

• No limitations for the number of panels in the video-wall.
• Video-wall may be compound from the segments of video-wall connected to different ports.
• Support of the configurations for video-walls with complicated geometry.

Precise adjustment of the image parameters is absolutely necessary for video-wall control software. It is impossible to reach the image clearness and integrity if the video-wall units are not justified towards one single panel. Bliscom DracoEye gives both: standard and automated procedure of white balance, color temperature and saturation adjustment. The software gives extended features implemented in the rich user interface. Additional equipment, like external color analyzer along with the software support enables automation of the color temperature and white balance adjustment. In few steps of wizard for white balance and color temperature adjustment the operator may easy and fast reach desired settings of the color temperature over the video-wall surface towards single selected panel.

Manual and automated settings of the video-wall parameters

• Adjustment of brightness, contrast, clearness, color temperature of the image;
• Satisfying the uniform image over the video-wall surface (white balance) – manual and automated adjustment using the color analyzer (Konica Minolta CA-100Plus)
• Individual adjustment of the panel settings for each source of video-signal.

Bliscom DracoEye permanently monitors correctness of the commands execution by video-walls and single panels. It means that adaptive and intellectual monitoring is provided for both: simplify the video-wall control and prevention of the critical situation, avoiding of technological handicaps. Any moment of the runtime video-wall and panels’ functioning is displayed to the operator, as well as the level of the control signal. Monitoring of the actual state depends on the operator actions, which knows the video-wall state and tries to minimize the control channel and panels load, which may influence the work of the system.

Monitoring

• Panel state monitoring in startup/shutdown stages of work.
• Run-time diagnostic of the panels’ state.

• Statistics of the port, panels, connection functioning.
• Adaptive calculation of the time-parameters of the panels state request procedure.

Protection

• Wizard of the anti-burning effect (for plasma panels) – performs the automated procedure removing the burning effect either automatically or under the operator’s supervision.
• Possibility of regular notifications will remind the operator about the video-wall preventive measures.
• Periodical image shift of image for some pixels in order to prevent burning effect. Image shift will not affect the image quality.

The main feature of Bliscom DracoEye is unification of the video-wall installation procedure and ease of their further service. For this Bliscom DracoEye incorporates the client-server architecture, letting the operator to control the video-wall in the most unified way.
